This week we’ve got vines, vines, and more vines! Greens and yellows are quite prominent in this share (surprise, surprise).

I don’t have much to say, other than I love this first drawing. One of my favorites of the year, for sure. I love the look on her face, I love the relaxed, yet submissive pose, and I love how the vines wrap around her body. Sometimes I end up quite happy with my drawings! This is one of those times.

The others are all sort of washes for me. I like some of them – particularly Rooted and Take a Look, but I don’t think they’re incredible.

As I’ve mentioned before, my goal is to just try to draw every day. Some days are more rushed, or I’m just less attentive to details, or I did a poor job at translating the image on the page. The important thing for me is to keep drawing, though. The repetition of forming a consistent habit is what brings out some of the winners, I think.
