Hey, everyone! This week is bondage part two. We’ve got ropes and vines, vines and ropes, baby. I seriously loved working on this series – it was fun to explore. I had experimented with vines wrapping around bodies before, but this felt like a series that was specifically catered to bondage. I don’t think it was necessarily intended to be sexy or fetishizing, but whatever the case may be… I like it.

My favorites from the week are “Don’t Make a Move,” “What the Hell is Happening to Me?”, and “Begin”. “Begin” is especially exciting for me to share, because it is truly the BEGINNING of me using slight backgrounds in my illustrations. Can you believe for like three years I didn’t draw backgrounds at all? Or if I did, they were just slight indications? I’m not saying this one is any better – really it’s a solid circle with stars inside it… but it’s something. And I do think it makes it feel a little more FINISHED. What do you think?
