This week is the outer space series, continued! It’s pretty cool how it evolved in such a short amount of time. I’m curious to know what you all think.

Every now and then, I draw a sunflower in one of my pieces. I think I’ve mentioned before, but they are very symbolic to me, my growth, and my sobriety. So, naturally I had to include one in the “Sunflower Boner” piece – so aptly named by my brother when I showed him a picture of the drawing.

I remember being quite impressed with myself during this series – anatomy was finally starting to come together and my bodies felt a lot more believable than they had in the past. I think a good example of that is “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” – I feel like the moon lady is drawn pretty well. There are still some things I simplify at this point – notably hands and feet. I sort of draw them as overall shapes instead of using incredible detail. Something to work on.

My favorites from this week are “Masked Ballerina,” “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” and “Intro Aurora”. Aurora borealis will be a more common theme next week, and I’m looking forward to sharing that with you all. Is there anybody reading this? Haha. Sometimes I really think I’m just writing into the void. Oh, well.
