Hi, everyone! This week I’ve got some otherworldly illustrations to share with you. Well, otherworldly-ish… I wanted to try and push the landscapes further, and alter them in a way that isn’t quite Earth-like. I think it’s working out well.

I drew most of these illustrations while I was on vacation in Alaska, which was an absolutely phenomenal place with so much wildlife. Y’all should check out my blog post about it if you’re interested… it’s beautiful there.

My favorites from these otherworldly illustrations are “On Another Planet,” “Inside the National Park,” and “On the Way Down”. I think those are the most dynamic to me, and the color choices worked out well. Sometimes I’ll think a color pairing will work, and it just… doesn’t. I think “Like This, Like That” is a good example of that – the idea is there, but it just doesn’t look right.
