Intersections: August 15th to August 24th

August 14th to August 24th, 2020: INTERSECTIONS! I was super interested in intersecting people’s bodies. It was a cool challenge for me, because normally I draw only one person each drawing, so to draw two, and two that overlap, was… a small feat!

I also want to mention that at this point in my drawings, I tried to get away from traditional skin colors, which is why most of these characters are vivid pinks and greens and blues and yellows. Looking back at these drawings, they remind me of Keith Haring’s work a little bit, though he wasn’t my inspiration.

My favorites from this week are “Expand, Contract” and “Who Am I?” I think the color combinations really work and the intersections turned out nicely.

What are your favorites? Let me know! DM me on instagram or reach out through my website. Be sure to check out last week’s post as well!
