Hello, everyone! Today is my birthday! I’m now 29 years old – the last year of my 20’s. I’m into it! This week, we’re diving into some slight surrealism. I hope you enjoy the pieces below.

We have a lot of nude people this week. I feel like most of my drawings are nudes, anyway. I should probably start putting a NSFW tag on everything haha.

Similar to last week, I really enjoy some of these, and the rest are kind of washes. I love the first two in particular. “Turn From Me” might be one of my top ten I’ve done in 2020. I particularly love drawing people who are turned away from the camera. I feel they could represent anybody, and that makes for an interesting piece, to me. I also feel like I’ve started to pump up the surrealism in these images.

I also really love “Green Hats Are In.” I think drawing him was the introduction to a slightly new style I’ll be exploring in the coming weeks, which I’m excited for you all to see.
