Hello, hello! Welcome to another week of my drawings. This week’s share has some three-headed beauties for y’all to look forward to.
One thing that I really love about doing amputations of limbs is that I think it has allowed me to really think in a three-dimensional way that I wasn’t quite able to before. Originally, these amputations were inspired by a DrawABox lesson – which you should all check out if you’re interested in drawing! In the lesson, the students have to do an exercise where they take various shapes and dissect them.
In addition to these dissections (which have become a theme in my work), I also have a bonus drawing! One of my friends is a teacher and asked me to draw something for one of her students. Can you guess which one it is? Well, it’s the unicorn. I actually really loved drawing that – and I don’t often draw animals. I think I need to start exploring that some more. The student’s favorite color is rainbow – can you believe that? Their favorite animal is a unicorn, their favorite flower is sunflower. That’s how I decided to draw what I did.
I also love the introduction of the three-headed babes. In these earlier drawings, I don’t think I figured it out, but by next week’s share, I know there is one three-headed beauty that I’m super proud of. Something to look forward to.
In the meantime – please enjoy this week’s share! As always, feel free to reach out with an interest or questions about my pieces. You can DM me on instagram or contact me through my website.
